Ash Shovels are designed to scoop up coals and ash for removal from your wood fired pizza oven. They can also be used to manage or move around a wood fire within your pizza oven. Ash Shovels are made from 304 stainless steel, designed and manufactured in the US, from US sourced materials.
How to choose an Ash Shovel
- Select a 6” shovel for smaller ovens. Select a 9” shovel for larger or commercial sized ovens.
- Handle Length. The Ash Shovel uses a 2 Hole Handle, which is 3/4” in diameter. When choosing a handle length, consider how deep your oven is, but also how much space you have around your oven. If you have lots of space, longer handles can be easier to use and tend to not get as hot with extended usage. If you have a tighter space, like a small kitchen or food truck, you may select a shorter handle to keep the tool maneuverable.
